This school is very special. It’s full of kind, wonderful people that put a smile on your face. We have lots of mixed classes, and small classes, where you learn everything from english, math, to kitchen, music, and outdoor. We also have other classes which bring all of us together. From pre-k’s to grade nines, all of us get along and everyone learns something from each other. -V.B.
Via Vita is like a family to me. I know all the people here and I get to learn from everyone, even the grades that are younger than me. It's an amazing experience and it's alway so exciting to see what the next day will bring. -A.D.
Throughout my years of being here. I’ve learnt so much more than I thought. Not only academic wise, but life wise. I’ve learnt how to properly cut an onion, be a role model towards the Pre-K’s, how to navigate the amount of personalities I’ll encounter, and so much more than I can’t express. Going into highschool I feel so much more confident in the skills I have, and how to be evermore confident in myself. -A.B.
I love this school because you connect with others and there's so much diversity. There is so much to love and we have amazing teachers. -B.W.
I have made many friends and memories. I’ve learned how to play guitar, manage my time and write a bibliography in APA format. This is to say that Via Vita has taught me most skills I know today, and set me up for a better future. I have also formed very deep friendships because of the small class environment. Instead of getting to know a lot of people, you get to know a few VERY well, and appreciate each person for who they are. I also enjoy having the same teachers each year because they know how you learn. -J.T.
All I can say is good things about this school. Through all of the ups and downs of life, this school has made me feel safe and loved. I have learned so much from all of these amazing teachers. -R.M.
I love how I have an opportunity to be a leader to younger people and get to learn the life skills needed to live a successful and fulfilling life. -K.T.
I'm so grateful I came to this school. I’ve learned so many things here whether it’s work related or life skills. In my opinion, this is the best school in Nova Scotia. I never want to leave! -K.C.
Via Vita Academy gives you time to complete your work at your own pace and teaches you many skills, like working as a team and being a leader. Via Vita is an open space that you can grow and learn. -E.P.
Being a student at Via Vita can have a lot of pressure, but I look back at myself and realize how much the staff have helped me get through some of the hardest times of my life. The teachers have helped me find my interests and learn not only math and english, but some of the biggest challenges of life and how to get through them. I am so grateful for Via Vita Academy. -J.O.
Being a part of Via Vita Academy has been the best experience, because I always know that I can talk to any teacher in the school and they would always understand and help. I always like going on walks with the little kids because I haven’t done many things like that before. Everyone in Via Vita is always making jokes and are really nice to others. My favorite thing that happened so far at the Via Vita was my first showcase. Being a part of a play and having so much fun with everyone was amazing to experience for the first time. -K.C.
I like going to Via Vita Academy because of how kind and caring everyone is. I also love the teachers' help. They are the best. They help me so much. -J.B.

I learned, here at VVA, about history, culture and leadership. It has so many different kinds of people and everyone is so nice. I never want to leave. I feel happy, excited, helpful, caring and grateful. I love you VVA! -B.M.
I like being at VVA because the kids get to make decisions, like in Student Council. Learning life skills is also really great like doing chores and putting up the lunch tables, we even get to raise chicks! Literally chicks! I love how little the school is because it’s not so loud and you can ask for help when you need it. Overall, VVA is an amazing school. I couldn't imagine a world without it. P.S. The first chick has hatched and it’s name is Pip! -S.B.
I love that I can have time to do my work and I love all of the teachers. They’re so nice to me. They always help me, too. -E.D.

There are no bullies here, I have better friends, more activities and more classes. One time we got to hatch baby eggs! My schedule is so fun. It has so many things! -E.C.
My favorite classes are theater, outdoor, kitchen and buddies. Buddies is a class where all the school comes together to play. Kitchen is a class where you make food to try. Outdoor is a class where you go outside to play, work, learn, and have fun. Theatre is a class where you learn to act and lead. -M.C.
