Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-K Program welcomes children who turn 4 by December 31st, providing a hands-on, curiosity-driven introduction to school. Their natural motivation to explore, ask questions, and see the world from new perspectives aligns perfectly with our inquiry-based themed curriculum.
The program is tailored to engage each child, fostering curiosity, building a concrete understanding of the world, and laying a strong foundation in language, math, and social-emotional development. In our multi-grade learning environment, students benefit from a close-knit, family-like community where older and younger learners support each other.
Through daily interactions, activities, and shared experiences, Pre-K students develop confidence, a sense of belonging, and social skills, while building a strong framework for future learning as they progress through the grades. Every moment is designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Our Pre-K Curriculum
Our Pre-K curriculum is carefully designed to meet the diverse learning needs of young children. Drawing on leading early education models from around the world and our own experience as licensed early childhood educators, we provide a learning environment that balances skill-based language and math instruction with hands-on, real-life exploration.
Students engage in inquiry-based themed learning, exploring school-wide annual themes through questioning, investigating, and representing knowledge in creative and meaningful ways. Daily activities include physical education, outdoor learning, life skills, and arts education, all delivered in small classes where each child is recognized and supported as a valued member of the school community.
As a small school with multigrade classrooms, children benefit from mentorship and cooperative learning opportunities with peers of all ages. Programs like buddies, morning movement, classroom volunteers, student-led meetings, chores, school-wide recess and lunch breaks and support teams in classrooms and events foster collaboration, leadership, and shared growth.
