$245/week or $50/day ($196 each for Canada Day week & Natal Day week - 4 day weeks) The Outdoor Summer Camp Program includes tons of outdoor play, hikes, a range of arts-based activities, hands-on science, cooperative games, songs, and more! Each week has a fun theme to tie in all of the fun outdoor events and activities campers will get up to! A more specific breakdown some of the week's activities will be sent to families a week ahead of time so they can get ready for ALL OF THE FUN! *4 year olds must be independent in using the washroom, changing, and be able to stick with the group Leaders in Training (LIT) Program | Ages 11+ $600/3 week program (additional weeks available at $200/week) The Leaders in Training Program (LIT) covers the basics of being a youth leader in our community. Participants attend orientation and training sessions that introduce concepts like professionalism, confidentiality, and leadership, before learning hands-on skills like leading a variety of children’s activities in our Summer Camp and Summer Events. Participants will receive a LIT t-shirt at orientation. Upon successful completion of the LIT Passport, LIT Portfolio and a minimum of three (3) weeks in the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to register for the LEAD program next summer. Leaders Exploring and Discovering (LEAD) Program $100/summer The Leaders Exploring and Discovering Program (LEAD) is the second level of Leaders in Training. To become LEAD, you must successfully complete the Leaders in Training program. LEAD participants are expected to take on additional duties, act as role models and peer mentors for the LIT’s, as well as completing additional training and workshops. LEAD participants, having already completed the Leaders in Training program, receive refresher courses and also play a role in training the LIT’s. Participants will receive a LEAD t-shirt at orientation. Upon successful maintenance of the LEAD Passport, LEAD Portfolio and a minimum of three (3) weeks of volunteering, participants will receive a reference letter at the end of the summer. *LEAD Program participants are invited to Staff Training the week before Summer Camp starts! *LEAD Program pre-requisite includes needing to complete LIT program prior, regardless of age. *LIT & LEAD Program minimum 3 weeks *LIT & LEAD behaviour expectations must be upheld to remain registered/complete program |

March 10: Rainbow Runway: Wear your favourite colour, head to toe, and run right into a day full of colour and fun! March 11: Superhero Olympics: Wear a cape of any kind or dress as a superhero and get ready to complete in the hilarious and silly 'olympic games' March 12: Summer Party: Wear your summer attire for an indoor Summer Party, complete with popsicles and a beach ball bonanza! March 13: Creative Chaos: Wear your wildest, wackiest combination - let's get creative! Enjoy a day filled with inspiration - especially at the craft buffet! March 14: Cozy Campfire: Wear your PJ's, bring a stuffy (must be able to fit in backpack) and cozy up to some campfire tunes and games. For March Break, we are offering a condensed, integrated version that is the full week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Participants will attend a short orientation and mini-training sessions throughout the week that introduce concepts like professionalism, confidentiality, and leadership, before learning hands-on skills like leading a variety of children’s activities in our March Break Camp. Participants will also need to maintain an accurate and organized record of their notes and activity planning. Upon successful completion of all LIT aspects of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion of this March Break Mini-LIT Program. *LIT behaviour expectations must be upheld to remain registered/complete program Leaders Exploring and Discovering (LEAD) Program Free for Mini-March Break Version as a volunteer We welcome our LEAD participants to help out during March Break and volunteer, extending your skills and experiences working with a team, with children in a fast-paced, high energy environment. Take on an aspect of the program that is of interest to you - leading activities, organizing crafts, maintaining the transitions, prepping the paperwork - the tasks are endless! LEAD participants, having already completed the Leaders in Training program, are expected to be helpful and supportive to all aspects of operating a childcare program, and add to the fun! The Leaders Exploring and Discovering Program (LEAD) is the second level of Leaders in Training. To become LEAD, you must successfully complete the Leaders in Training summer program. LEAD participants are expected to take on leadership opportunities within the program, as well as additional duties to support the program and the team, including acting as role models and peer mentors to others in the program, especially in the LIT program. *LEAD Program pre-requisite includes needing to complete LIT program prior, regardless of age. *LEAD behaviour expectations must be upheld to remain registered/complete program |
